If you don't know, you will soon learn that Faber girls love to eat and try "yummy" foods!
First Stop: "Great" Bakery (in Astoria on Steinway Street)
These were our cupcakes! Each cupcake comes in a box with ribbon! We got a red velvet, an oreo, and a toffee one!
They also had pretty good Lattes- so if your in Queens... stop in!
Next stop was a puppy store... they were really cute EXCEPT for the hairless cat that looked like a creature from you know where. Very scary...
Next stop.... our 2nd favorite thing to do as sisters.... SHOP. Shopping in Astoria isn't my first choice but there are always diamonds in the rough.
My new bracelet from Astoria, Queens!
So after walking and window shopping, it was time for our favorite thing again.... EATING!
Romano's is a Greek/Italian place Miranda and I found our first weekend and loved the Gyros. It is in Astoria on Broadway if you are interested!
SATURDAY!
We decided there were 3 things on our list for the day...
1. Shop
2. Eat
3. See a Broadway Play
We conquered all 3!
1. Shopped in China Town and Soho- Carol Ann's First Time!
2. Ate lunch at Empanada Mamas - a Columbian place - MUCH RECOMMENDED!
The empanadas are great and the Guacamole is amazing with fried
plantains!
Address: 51st and 9th Ave
3. Bought tickets to Priscilla Queen of the Desert (with out knowing really anything about it....)
Priscilla Queen of the Desert was a great show if you are prepared that it is a about 3 drag queens traveling across Australia! Carol Ann and I did not know that that was what it was about.... interesting surprise....!
If you love costumes though- you have got to see the show! They won Best Costume at the Tony's this year - and rightfully so!

| I wore my sparkly shoes for the glitsy-est show! |

Miranda went and saw The Adams Family - very much recommended! Student Tickets were only about $37 the day of!
Back to Priority #2 of the day---- EATING! Miranda and I had to take Carol Ann to BLOCK HEADS! It is our favorite Mexican place in NYC. If you are in NYC, make sure to go!
Address: 50th Street btw 8th and 9th
SUNDAY!
TO DO LIST:
1. Ride Bikes in Central Park
2. TIffany's
3. Pizza
Before our exercise on our cruiser bikes we went to Great Bakery...again... to get breakfast on our way to the City. Muffins are great!
1. 6 mile bike ride around Central Park = amazing!
It was exhausting on the huge hill but it was the best way to see Central Park. It is too big to walk in an afternoon and enjoy it.
If you love the park, BIKE IT! Rent from the Boat House off of East 74th street! Only $9!
(pictures coming later!)
2. Tiffany's was amazing.... saw the 1.5 million dollar diamond ring. Very big....
3. Pizza - Carol Ann and I got 4 different kinds and shared! Best way to try different kinds!
We then had to say goodbye Saturday night....
Until Next time,
ELoise and (Miranda)
